Each year the Gallatin Police Department and Gallatin Fire Department hosts the "Shop with a Cop and Firefighter" program. This program sponsors children from disadvantaged families to provide Christmas gifts for the children. The children are partnered with a Police Officer or Firefighter and allowed to shop at Walmart for Christmas presents for themselves and family members. For many of the children this event will be the only Christmas gifts they receive.
This event will be held at the Gallatin Walmart, 1112 Nashville pike this Saturday, December 2nd at 8:00 A.M.
