[ARCHIVED] Gallatin Police Santa Classic and the Shop with a Cop

Each year the Gallatin Police Department hosts "Shop with a Cop” to provide Christmas gifts for disadvantaged children. The fundraiser that supports this effort is the annual Santa Classic Golf Tournament at Long Hollow Golf Course. This year’s tournament was held last Saturday, November 4th, and raised $15,490.00.

The Gallatin Police Department extends its sincere gratitude to several residents and businesses that contributed to make the Santa Classic and the Shop with a Cop successful.  The GPD recognizes and gives its heartfelt thanks to Johnny Garrott, Chris Tuck, Garrott Brothers Concrete, The Sumner County 100 Club, Scott and Tammy Vineyard, T’s Hot Chicken, Western Reflections, Firehouse Subs, Jimbo Hicks and the Long Hollow Golf Course crew, Puryear Farms, Chef Christopher and Epic Centre, Judge Barry Brown, Carl Wells and Associates, Tennessee Tire, All Access Coach, Coley Insurance, Phil Roark, MP Security, Rutledge Company Inc., Dean Oil Company, Samick Music Corp., Joey’s Carpet, DerryBerry’s, Green Eye Center, Roger’s Group, Douglas Barber Shop, Green and Little, Craig Hayes, The Hairy Moose, Dr. and Mrs. Paul Enoch, Carriage Cleaners, Southern Sports Medicine, Elizabeth Hobdy Jones and Farmers Insurance, Sumner County Anti-Drug Coalition, Gordon’s Engraving, Davis and Dr. Dianna Shipley, Butch Veazey and Associates, and Mrs. Heather Nave.

The generous contributions of so many will allow the Gallatin Police Department to assist over 100 underprivileged children this Christmas Season.
