First responders are on scene on the campus of Welch College on Bison Trial where a contract worker was repairing a water line when the trench he was working in collapsed, trapping him under ground. Gallatin Police are investigating the incident and emergency crews are on scene that is ongoing at this time. One person has died and no other persons are reported injured. The victim’s name is not being released at this time.
