Gallatin Police responded to Sumner Regional Medical Center last night concerning a person who had sustained serious injuries to their head from an apparent assault. Officers learned that the subject was assaulted by Rickey Allen Fields outside of a residence on Demoss Street. A warrant was obtained for Fields for aggravated assault.
