Permits and applications

Alarm Registration
Complete the application and return to the Recorder's Office. Alarm must be registered annually. 

Beer Permit Application

Complete all forms, submit the TBI Background check, read the ordinance, return the signed affidavit notarized and pay the $250 fee. Applications must be received by the Recorder's Office fifteen (15) business days prior to the regular monthly Beer Board Meeting. The Gallatin Beer Board requires the applicant or a representative be present at the Beer Board Hearing.

Charitable Solicitor Application


Charitable or religious solicitors are required to complete the application, give purpose of soliciting, provide photo I.D., receive the "Do Not Solicit List" and receive a badge permitting solicitation within city limits.

Domesticated Chicken Application
Complete the application and return to the Recorder's Office once approved by the Codes Department.


Parade Permit Application

Complete the application and return to the Recorder's Office.

Purchase a Garbage Can


Complete the application and return to the Recorder's Office along with payment.

Solicitor Permit Application
Door-To-Door salespeople are required to complete the application, give basic information on sales, provide photo I.D., receive the "Do Not Solicit List" and receive a badge permitting sells within city limits.


Special Event Beer Permit

Complete all forms in the application, return the signed affidavit notarized and pay the $50 fee to the City of Gallatin Recorder's Office. The Gallatin Beer Board requires the applicant or a representative be present at the Beer Board Hearing.



Special Event Noise Permit

Special event noise permits are required to hold an event which occurs on municipally controlled property that are noncommercial in character. Complete the application and return to the Recorder's Office.

Transient Vendor Application
Transient vendors shall pay a tax of $50.00 for each 14 day period in each municipality in which such vendors sell or offer to sell merchandise for which they are issued a business license, but that they are not liable for the gross receipts portion of the tax provided.
