Technical training

We know a trained workforce is critical to your industry's success. Gallatin is fortunate to have four area TCATs (Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology), a community college launching a Mechatronics degree program this fall, and a 4-year residential college campus that partners with workforce training.

VSCC Tops the State in Workforce Training

Our community college, VSCC, tops the state in workforce training hours, providing 121,639 hours in 2016 - that's 22% of the entire state total among all the Tennessee Board of Regents colleges and universities. The training programs match company culture with employee knowledge and skills base.

Providing Premier Technical Training

The TCATs are Tennessee's premier provider of state-of-the-art technical training for workers to learn skills for advancement in today's job market.

Gallatin pulls graduates from the TCATs in Portland, Hartsville, Lebanon, and Nashville.

These four campuses combined enroll nearly 700 adult students - and nearly double when size if you count high school students.

They serve a high percentage of veterans. Nearly all their students graduate with zero student loan debt.
