With Nashville in your backyard, you can enjoy the big city amenities without the bumper-to-bumper commute. Gallatin has the economic environment, quality of place, and workforce pipeline for your success. Gallatin's existing industries are primarily characterized by manufacturing, distribution & warehousing, but our target industries have changed. The most important external goal the city put forward during it's strategic planning session was for the city to pursue new markets that offer competitive salaries and stable employment for citizens - most specifically technology and corporate headquarters. Lucky for us, we have the only lakefront site for corporate headquarters in Middle Tennessee! We're very proud to announce that social media giant, Facebook, is investing 800 million dollars in our community and building a new 984,000 sq. ft data center. Facebook joins ServPro Corporate Headquarters, Gap Inc. and Beretta USA.
Despite the disruptions of Covid-19, Gallatin continues to experience exponential growth. During the pandemic Gallatin saw a 4.5% increase in population growth. Seven companies relocated, equating to $1.2B CapEx and 600 jobs. Furthermore, we currently have 3 existing companies looking to expand equating to $90M in CapEx and more than 600 jobs.
