While this will be a new position for me, I am certainly not new to public service. Not only am I a former county commissioner, but I have also served on various boards and committees over the years. They include chairman of the Sumner County Law Enforcement Committee, vice chairman of the Sumner County Planning Commission, as well as service on the Sumner County Education, Public Works, EMS, Tax Delinquent and Agriculture committees, and Sumner County Anti-Drug Coalition. I also served three elected terms with the Sumner County Sheriff’s Civil Service.
