The Finance Department prepares the City of Gallatin’s internally used financial reports, the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, and prepares and monitors the City’s annual budget. Finance is also responsible for the centralized payroll and accounts payable systems. In addition to maintaining the integrity of the City’s financial records and transactions, Finance ensures the proper and efficient expenditure of City funds and collects and analyzes information to provide short and long term projected impacts of national, state, and local decisions on the City’s financial stability.

It is the policy of the City of Gallatin to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; 49 CFR, Part 21; related statutes and regulations to the end that no person shall be excluded from participation in or be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity on the grounds of race, color, sex, age, disability or national origin.
