At Large - Ed Mayberry

Councilman Ed Mayberry has served the Gallatin community in multiple ways from graduation at Gallatin High School, through college at Volunteer State Community College, to his work in local banking for 38 years. He currently does community volunteer work in local non-profits and his church.

Mayberry has seen dramatic changes in his hometown. He was the first student government president at Vol State when classes were in a church before building a campus. He graduated from MTSU in 1975 and in 1981 from the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking.

He has served as council-at-large for 22 years with two of those as Vice Mayor. He is married to Betty Pate Mayberry who taught math at Gallatin High School and now teaches at Pope John Paull II High School.
