Fishing Derby Form

2020 Kids Fishing Derby is Canceled. But, here is what happened last year.


Kids Fishing Derby with WSM 650 AM - Home of the Grand Ole Opry 2019

 Will be held on Saturday July 20th, 2019 kids (ages 5-16) may participate in a free fishing derby at Lock 4 Point Park,Gallatin TN.

WSM 650 AM-Home of the Grand Ole Opry is excited to team up with Gallatin Parks and Recreation and various country artists for the 30th Annual FREE Fishing Derby. Pop-up live Shows, tailgating, and more during CMA FEST WEEKEND!  The event will be hosted by WSM's own, Devon O'Day, with special guests stopping by throughout the morning.  There will be food trucks and food vendors on site and other fun activities for the whole family!

Pumpkin Splash


The Sunday before Halloween, your K-5th grader can dive for a pumpkin in GCC’s indoor pool. After retrieving his or her pumpkin, pumpkin decorating and swimming begins! The whole family is welcome to participate.

Pawpalooza Poster 2019

Pawpalooza Pet Festival


2020 is the third anniversary of this festival which is Gallatin's own tribute to pet ownership. We have LIVE music all throughout the event, food trucks and vendors galore for you and your furry friend. So mark your calendar for September 26th, 2020 to come visit this fun filled event for you and your pet. All proceeds from this event help the City of Gallatin build the Miracle Park playground.

Turkey Run


The first Saturday in November join us for our Turkey Run! This will be a 5K race and a Fun Walk which will raise money for the Miracle Park planned for 6 acres at Triple Creek park. This all-inclusive park will include a ball field, pedal park and playground. We start our run at the Gallatin Civic Center and run through the scenic Triple Creek Park and finish back at the civic center. It is a fun event for all ages. Don't forget there is also a costume contest too.

Christmas Harvest Craft Show


A long time tradition in the city of Gallatin. This craft extravaganza is always held the third Saturday in November, shop and mingle at GCC’s Christmas Harvest Craft Show. It’s a local tradition you don’t want to miss. *New vendors can start submitting their booth applications in mid-August. 2020 Christmas Harvest Craft Show is Saturday, Nov. 21st.

Elves Holiday Workshop

 
One Saturday in early December  join the Civic Center Elves for some fun and make a holiday craft to take home and put on your tree! Kids will also receive a doughnut and hot cocoa right before the Gallatin Christmas Parade. The fun starts at 9 a.m. Registration click here.

Letter From Santa


Mid-November through mid-December, your child can sign up to receive a personal letter from Santa! Drop by the GCC to let Santa’s elves know you’d like to join in the fun. Deadline is Monday, Dec.9th, 2020.
